Founded as a small European event in 1988, TEFAF is today the world’s leading art and antiques fair, hosting nine sections with more than 260 exhibitors from nearly all continents.

Visitors to the fair are present at an outstanding event – one that offers the best choice of the very best in fine art and antiques. They have the unique chance to view and to buy paintings from Bruegel to Bacon as well as objects reflecting 6,000 years of excellence in the applied arts.

Objects on view at the fair have been subject to rigorous checks as to their quality, condition and authenticity. Every item is checked by one of 29 vetting committees made up of some 170 internationally respected experts.
